And this one is pretty interesting since it encourages both sides of the argument to participate in the political commentary, mostly unmoderated. In some of the threads I’ve read, the arguments are pretty fierce, making me wonder why most right wingers who debate on the web, lack basic understanding in the English language and grammar. Hopefully some sane conservatives will find these forums and bring some thoughtful debate with them.
While the forum’s name, “Argue With Everyone” describes what goes on there, no one wins when you just scream at each other.

Because Bill Maher is back tonight on HBO.
Don’t miss the return of “Real Time with Bill Maher” tomorrow, August 24 at 11pm ET on HBO. Panelists include Oscar-winner Tim Robbins, host of NPR’s “Tell Me More” Michel Martin, and senior writer for The Weekly Standard Stephen F. Hayes. And, via satellite, Bill will be interviewing former Governor of Arkansas and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, and Damien Cave, Baghdad correspondent for The New York Times, will be joining us live from Iraq.
And for fans of Keith Olbermann.. Our main man has been “called up from the minors” to pinch hit primetime on NBC..
Olbermann, whose MSNBC show has made him a cult hero to some, said Wednesday that it’s nothing more than a scheduling need on the big network that will bring “Countdown” to NBC at 7 p.m. EDT Sunday before “Sunday Night Football.”
“I go into it with an assumption that this is a one-shot deal,” Olbermann said. He said that if for some reason the show is successful in that slot, with little to no publicity or advertising, then that assumption might change, though he isn’t thinking it’s going to happen.
“Countdown” likely will get a wider exposure on NBC than it has on MSNBC, where it has run weeknights since it debuted in 2003. While the content of the show will be driven by the day’s events and therefore not known until Sunday, Olbermann said there’s nothing special planned other than to do the same type of show they always do.
While this is sort of a one time thing.. I’m still delighted that Keith will have exposure to millions who don’t normally watch Countdown, or even have access to MSNBC on their cable lineup.

My liberal freak flag has been flying a little too high over at My Little Tribe lately. I think one of my most recent posts scared the muggles a bit.. so all of my political ranting will now be posted here, with milder stuff perhaps cross posted (I’m not sure yet.)
And I’m toying with moving my politics category here as well, though I’m not sure if that will hurt MLT’s PR. Hmm, things to think about.
